NetChess is a chess game with ample possibilities to play against other people, either on your own computer or via an Internet connection.

This game also allows you to chat with your opponent to comment on the moves or to talk about anything else. You can also save the games to finish them later. You will not be able to make incorrect movements since the program only allows each part to make the movements allowed at any given time.

If you wish you can obtain a record of all the movements of a game and export them in text format. If you want to play with the clock you can either start it or let each opponent take the time he needs and use the clock simply as statistical data.
